Swedish Meatballs
1 sm. onion minced
1 egg
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 Tbsp butter
2 tsp. salt
< tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 lb. ground chuck
3 tsp. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 cup plain yogurt
Saute minced onion in a small amount of butter in skillet until soft. Beat egg
in mixing bowl. Combine with milk and bread crumbs. Let sit for 10 minutes
then add salt allspice nutmeg ground chuck onion and pepper. Shape into small
balls. Saute balls in skillet with butter browning well on all sides. After
all meatballs are cooked make gravy in drippings in skillet; stir in flour and
add yogurt cooking until thick. Replace meatballs in skillet and heat mixture.
