southernish dinner rolls
i have a great recipe for southernish dinner rolls. they are a cinch to make.
they keep forever. i usually make a gross or so at a time and freeze them.
*if you are interested, i figured up the nutritional info: serving size is 1 roll
calories: approx 110
fat: approx 2.5 g
RECIPE
2 c self rising flour
1 c milk
4 heaping Tbs. mayo
preheat oven to 400. makes 12 rolls. grease a 12 c muffin pan. mix the
flour and mayo together first. then add the milk and stir until most of the lumps
are gone. pour into muffin tin and bake approx 8 mins or until tops are just BARELY
golden brown around edges.
*i figured this info using 1% milk and Hellmann's Light Mayo (5 g fat per Tbs.).
*don't use fat free mayo
*if you don't concern yourself with counting calories, use real milk and mayo
i hope you enjoy. they are moist enough to eat without butter. let me know if
they are a success.
