Famous Dave's Cajun Dynamite Dust

The recipe is part of a collection of "Down Home" cooking in Dave's
fabulous 
book Famous Dave's Backroads and Sidestreets (proceeds from the book
benefit 
charity).

1/2 cup paprika 
6 Tbsp kosher salt 
1/4 cup coarsely ground black pepper 
3 Tbsp basil 
3 Tbsp [gumbo] file powder
2 Tbsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp dry mustard 
2 Tbsp onion powder 
2 Tbsp dried oregano
2 Tbsp cayenne (reduce by 1/2 if you want it mild) 
2 Tbsp white pepper 
2 Tbsp dried thyme 

Makes 2 1/2 Cups Seasoning Mix 

Mix all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container in a cool,
dark place.
