Canape De Pasta De Aceituna Negra
Y Queso Cabrales

1/4 pound cured black olives -- pitted
1 large clove garlic -- mashed
2 tablespoons pine nuts
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 to 1/2 lb blue cheese, such as Cabrales, Roquefort,
or Gorgonzola
long crusty loaf bread -- sliced 1/4" thick
black olives -- for garnish

Place the olives, garlic, pine nuts, and olive oil in the bowl of food
processor and chop as finely as possible. (May be prepared ahead)
Spread thinly on bread slices. Cover with blue cheese. Decorate with a
piece of black olive.
