Noodle Casserole
1 lb. noodles or spaghetti
2 lb. ground beet
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 can mushroom soup
1 can peas
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
Cook noodles in a separate pan by directions on package; drain. Brown meat
and onion in oil in skillet; then add soup, peas and seasonings. Place
noodles and meat mixture together in casserole, bowl or pan. Place in oven
and bake 1/2 hour. Serves 8.
Variation
Mediterranean Casserole: Instead of mushroom soup add small can tomato sauce
and 1/2 cup water to ingredients. Include 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, cut in
small pieces. Serves 8.
