Rhubarb Crumble

I found several recipes for you, my only regrate is that I can't be there to help you eat it. We don't get rhubarb here in Texas. It was always one of the things I looked forward to when I was a lad, Miss it but I do have some good recipes handy just in case.

 Rhubarb Crumble
 
3 cups rhubarb diced  1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbs orange juice  2/3 cup sifted flour
3/4 cup sugar  1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnaman  1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup melted shorting  1/2 cup quick rolled oats
 
Arrange the diced rubarb in an 8 x 8 x 2 in. greased pan sprinkel with the orange juice,   white sugar and cinnimon. Compine the melted
shorting, and brown sugar. Sift together the flour, salt, baking soda. Mix the rolled oats with the sifted ingreients. Blend this with the brown sugar mixture. Spread over the rhubarb. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes Serve warm or cold wit or without cream.
