Creole Goulash
This is a great skillet recipe I threw together tonight on lunch break. The
measurements of some ingredients are approximate and to the taste of the
cook. Feel free to experiment. :o) Let me know if you like it.
Creole Goulash
1 lb-2 lb of beef round steak (or any steak will do)
1-2 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
1 lb bag of frozen soup vegetables (assorted wegetables)
1 lb bag of frozen Brussels sprouts
1 bag of frozen hash brown potatoes (the loose kind, only part of bag)
1 can of tomatoes juice (only use part of it though)
McCormick's Creole Seasoning
Garlic powder or salt
Cut meat into bite-sized chunks and brown in olive oil. Add frozen
vegetables and a nice amount of the hash brown potatoes and dash liberally
with Creole seasoning. Dash slightly with garlic salt. Stir well. Add
enough tomatoes juice to make a nice thick sauce and dash more Creole
seasoning/mix to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until
vegetables are cooked and/or reduce heat for desired thickness of tomatoes
sauce. Serves 5-7.
