Crockpot Corned Beef

I always cook my corned beef in the slo-cooker. I pour boiling water over
the brisket, and cook on low for approx. 10 hrs.
I have NO luck with raw veggies in this process.
Generally take a little of the corned beef water out, add water and boil
the cabbage on stove top ( or use froz/canned veggies at the beginning of
slo-cooking)
