Plum Jelly

This recipes is from the Joy Of Cooking Cookbook by Irma S. Rombauer and Marion Rombauer Becker, hope you like them and I'll check my other cookbooks and see if I have any more. Daisy the gardener

Plum Jelly
Goose plums make delicious jelly or jam.
small red plums
Place in a saucepan. Add water until it can be seen through the top
layer. Boil plums until soft. Put the plup through a jelly bag.
Allow to each cup of juice:
1/4 to 1 cup sugar
Boil only 4 cups at a time.
