Rockin Meatballs

 
I've been told by Italian friends that my meatballs rock!
I use: Good (85+% lean) ground round
garlic powder TO TASTE (S&P too, I don't use any)
1 or 2 eggs depending how many you're making
oatmeal (in about equal proportion to egg)
(some people like bread crumbs, I like oatmeal.)


Mix ingredients well. Form the meatballs.
Refrig at least 1 hour.


Brown in large pan on low temp, both sides.


Drain grease. Add 2 times the red sauce you'd normally use and cook on low
(don't let it boil) for at least 1/2 an hour, preferably an hour and a-half.
Add a little more sauce when the pasta is cooking -- the MB really suck it up!


Enjoy with garlic bread, wine if ya want
