All of the featured recipes here are non-alcoholic.

Watermelon Fruit Drink

Ingredients

  • Cut up watermelon, seeded, and pureed (you need about 2 cups for this recipe)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water- plus enough to make 1/2 gallon

Bring sugar and water to a slow boil in a medium saucepan, stirring constantly. When mixture is just at boiling point remove from heat & allow to cool. While it is cooling, seed & puree 2 cups of watermelon. In a pitcher, mix 1 cup sugar syrup with 2 cups watermelon puree & enough  water to fill up pitcher.  Serve over ice.

Variations:

  • You can use 1 cup lime/1 cup syrup for Mexican limeade
  • Try this recipe  with mango's.
  • Get crazy, try strawberry limeade.
