It's harvest time for garden tomatillos. That
means it's time to start planning next years garden. Tomatillos are an easy to grow bushy
vegetable. Sow the seeds
indoors about 6 weeks before the last frost on almost any climate. When the danger of
frost has passed, you can place the plants in your garden about 2 feet apart. They grow
quickly if you provide lots of sun and water. If your bushes start to get out of control,
tomato cages may help keep things in line. Most people know
what a great addition tomatillos are to a green sauce or salsa. Some people even
like to eat them raw.
