BBQ Sauce
1 32 ounce bottle catsup
1 cup dark molasses
1 1/2 Tbsp or to taste tabasco sauce
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 mediun green bell pepper, finely minced
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 1/2 Tbsp dry mustard
3 Tbsp white vinegar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp liquid smoke
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Combine all except water in a large, heavy saucepan. Pour the water into the
catsup bottle and shake then add to the pot. Bring to a boil stirring
constantly, reduce heat and simmer until onions and bell pepper are very tender,
about 2 hours. Stir occasionally. Jan
