Margaree Valley French Toast

5 Eggs
1/4 cup Milk
1 cup Rolled oats
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
8 slice Porridge Bread
Butter as required
A brunch dish beyond adjectives, this French toast is made with
Porridge Bread. If porridge bread is not available, then use 1/2
inch thick slices of another brown bread.
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. In a pie plate,
combine oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. In a skillet, melt butter
until bubbly. Dip both sides of porridge bread in egg mixture, and
then coat both sides with spiced oatmeal. Saute in butter until
golden. Serve with Maple Syrup.
