Spiced Coffee
Servings: 4 servings
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
2 cinnamon sticks or 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 long strips fresh orange peel
4 cups strong, hot coffee
In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon
sticks and orange peel. Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Strain the
mixture into the hot coffee. Pour into mugs; garnish with additional orange
peel or cinnamon sticks, if desired.
