Vodka Sauce

I make mine with sausage.
4 links of italian sausage, out of casing.
Saute sausage in pot.  Remove sausage.
Drain all oil from pot.
Drain sausage (wrap in papter towel and squeeze)
 
Add 1/2 stick of butter to pot.
Add 3 cloves slice garlic to butter and saute  Don't get buttet or garlic brown.
Add 1/2 cup vodka, burn off it 1/2 remains.
Add 1 cup heavy cream or half and half
Add 1  cans crushed or puree tomatos (mediuma cans)
Cook for 30 minutes.  Don't boil!
Taste it and if you want more cream add it.
If u want more vodka flavor, pour vodka in separate pot, burn of alcohol then add to sauce.
I used a cheap vodka once and had to add sooo much to get flavor!
 
Experiment:  Add another can of tomatoes if u like very creamy etc. Add more sausage if you like the taste.
