2 cups self raising flour
1 pinch salt
90 grams butter
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
30 grams butter -- extra
Sift flour and salt into a bowl, rub in butter until mixture resembles fine
bread crumbs. Add milk and mix to a soft dough. Turn out onto a floured surface,
knead lightly. Roll out to 5mm thickness. Cut into rounds using 9cm cutter.
Brush with melted extra butter. Fold in half. Brush top and sides with melted
butter. Sprinkle tops thickly with combined sugar and cinnamon. Place on lightly
greased oven tray, sugar side uppermost. Bake in a hot oven 10 - 15 minutes.
