Deviled Eggs
Deviled Eggs
My Mothers recipe... However she is a dumper (dumps the ingredients and
never measures!) so this is to taste.
Deviled Eggs
Boiled Eggs (I usually do 6 eggs)
Mustards (I use a brown mustard and a yellow mustard)
Onion Powder
Mayonnaise (Some prefer sour cream)
Paprika
Peel boiled eggs. Slice in half. Remove yolks and put in a small mixing
bowl. With a fork mash the yolks. Add a bit of mayo to make it wet but not
to wet!. Mash and stir. Add mustards (do this a bit at a time). Mash and
stir. Add onion powder (I don't always do this!). Taste. Add more
mustard/onion powder/mayo to taste. It should be creamy and fluffy-ish. Put
into a pastry bag and fill egg halves. (I use a spoon or sometimes a
ziplock bag with a bit of one corner removed - makes for quick and easy
cleanup as well as not so messy filling!) Sprinkle with Paprika (optional!)
