Fried Green Tomatoes in Milk Gravy

Green tomatoes
bacon fat
egg
bread crumbs
flour
milk
salt and pepper
Slice tomatoes into 1/2 inch slices; Dip in egg, then in bread crumbs; Fry in
bacon fat... put on plate. Add flour to remaining fat in pan; blend, add milk,
cook until thickened; Season gravy and pour over tomatoes.

It's been quite a while since I put these recipes into my notebook, so I can't
really remember whether or not quantities were given; however, I think that if
they were I would have noted them... and they'r really not necessary.
