Turkey Stuffing
THis is a recipe that my mother has given me. This is the recipe that iI grew up with
and I also plan on using it for my first Christmas with my Fiance.
4 quarts stale bread crumbs, whole wheat and white or some cornbrad homade is best but
Italian or Frech bread can also be use( I'm using one loaf)
1 1/2 c. celery chopped
saute in stick of butter
1 1/2 c. onion chopped
4 eggs
2c chicken broth
1c milk
1/4 c chopped fresh sage
I'm going to put sausage into it since my fiance can't eat celery or onions. I plan on
using probably 1/4lb or more I think it all depends on you taste.
mix and bake in greased baking dishes for about 1 hour on 325'
some can be used to stuff puoltry
enjoy this is also VERY good cold
