Cincinnati Chili II
2 lbs ground beef
2 med. onions, chopped
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 1/2 TBS. vinegar
1 quart water
2 TBS. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 TBS. ground all spice
2 or 3 TBS. CHILI POWDER
2 OR 3 BAY LEAVES
PINCH of dry red pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
1 sq. chocolate
In a large pan, brown meat, drain, add onions and cook a few minutes. Add remaining dry
ingredients. Stir to mix then add remaining
ingredients. Cook over medium heat for about 3 hours. I also add 1 sq.
chocolate. This recipe can be doubled.

I have tried recipe II and it was very close to the real thing, but not quite. It
made a good topping for hot dogs. I grew up in Cincy.
