Leftover Stew

A favorite at our house is leftover stew.
What you need is all of the leftover veggies that are in your fridge (nothing old and gone bad, tho!) and nothing that was cooked in
cheese.
If no leftovers, try this easy recipe.

Leftover stew to make leftovers with
This should cost less than 5.00 if you do it without meat and buy from the farmers market in Dallas. To make this with meat, cube and brown your meat in a pan, and add  the meat at the very start while it is hot.
1 large bundle of carrots
2 large bundes of celery
1 large onion
6 potatoes (peel the skins off when you wash them)
1 head of cabbage
1 large bag of generic mixed veggies

Wash cut and slice all of the fresh vegetables and place them in a large pot with a few inches of water in the bottom of the pot
add a little salt and a tiny bit of garlic salt. Then, sprinkle some cayenne pepper into the veggies and a little paprika.
Add the veggies that are in the bag now, and place the top on the pot (better in a crock pot) and let simmer for at least an hour. This is really good and will stick to yoour ribs
